The Royal St. George will be running a 1720’s clinic starting on Tuesday the 4th of August at €175 per person.
This clinic will run from 0900-1200 each day until Friday the 7th and is geared at introducing the excitement of big boat sailing.
This clinic will help sailors’ transition from dinghy sailing into keelboat sailing. Sailors must be at an “improving skills” level and should be comfortable with tacks, gybes, beats, runs and able to efficiently sail a course in a dinghy.
The training will have a heavy focus on basic keelboat theory, kite work, rigging, and racing tactics/strategy. The coaches will be on board to help give a full experience.
