Feva Mid Term Training
Tuesday 1st November to Thursday 3rd November
BOOK HERE
RSGYC are hosting the mid-term Feva Clinic from Tuesday November 1st – Thursday November 3rd.
This clinic will be headed up by one of Ireland top youth sailors, Harry Durcan, who has followed up his successful Optimist career by moving into the 29er class, winning the UK 29er National Championships earlier this year. Harry will be joined by recent Feva sailors Greg Arrowsmith and Alex Start, both of whom competed in the Feva Worlds in 2015.
The cost for the 3 day clinic is:
RSGYC Members – €70 per sailor (or €25 per day if not doing all 3 days)
Non- RSGYC Members – €90 per sailor (or €35 per day if not doing all 3 days)
It is open to sailors from all clubs, and of all abilities. We will have separate on and off the water coaching sessions for more experienced Feva sailors who want to improve their boat handling and tactical skills and for those who are new or newer to the class and want to learn how to sail Fevas. All are welcome – if you don’t have someone to sail with, or even don’t have a Feva please contact us and we will see if we can match up sailors. The sessions will run from 11am – 4.pm each day, with pasta available after sailing, but please bring a packed lunch to have before heading out and plenty of water. A notebook and pen are also required, as well as plenty of warm clothes as it can still be very cold at this time of year.
If you have any queries regarding the clinic, please email Niav Devine at georgefevas@gmail.com.
