Congratulations to the RSGYC sailors competing at the ILCA Munsters in Baltimore this past weekend, lots of silverware making its way back to Dun Laoghaire. Well done folks, super results and sailing! Great to see so many sailors and family travelling.

Good luck to our youth sailors competing this week over in Howth Yacht Club in the Irish Sailing Youth National Championships and the IODAI trails starting on Thursday and running through to Sunday 16th April. A big few days of competition and fun ahead for the sailors… good luck to one and all!

Lift In takes place on Saturday, thank you to all dinghy owners who removed their boats in order to facilitate the Lift In.

Summer Dinghy Parking commences on Friday April 21st, if you have successfully applied for Summer Dinghy parking boats can be dropped off to the deck from Friday 21st. For those yet to apply for summer dinghy parking please do so at your earliest convenience as spaces are limited and filling up quickly. Click here to apply now.

Junior Summer Sailing Courses are starting to fill up. If you are planning on signing up your child or children please click here for course dates, online registration and further details.

Do you want to get involved more at your club? With so many activities taking place at your club, we are always welcoming club members that wish to help. We are looking for people to meet and greet, help on the water for safety, rib driving and crewing, drive Club launches and the Club committee boat, help for regattas and various other club events. If you would like to get involved, please contact us to be added to our list of volunteers for 2023 and we will be happy to have you help out in whatever capacity suits you.

uSail, RSGYC’s Adult Learn to sail program starts on April 25th with new weekend and weekday evening courses every other week thereafter. If you would like to brush up on your sailing skills, learn to sail or know someone that might be interested, please get in touch. Classes are held aboard our Club 1720’s, and have been a great success over the last few years. Click here for further details.

Powerboat training anyone Our Powerboat training courses recommence on the weekend of the 22nd of April and there are still a couple of spaces remaining. If you want to gain your Irish Sailing Powerboat certification or refresh your skills, this is the training for you. No experience with powerboats? No problem, our courses are designed to give you the skills, knowledge and experience required to safely operate powerboats and ribs. Click here for course dates and further details.
